Yesterday we took an all day road trip to southern NH. The foliage is just starting to really blaze. On our way back up the coast of Maine the sun kept darting in and out of dark clouds that threatened rain but never seemed to let it out. Instead, we saw rainbow after rainbow after rainbow…we counted 7 in all, including one double rainbow over the city of Portland. It was magnificent and we felt extremely lucky to be witnesses.
