With this new film, we’re really excited to launch the Imagination Foundation to foster creativity and entrepreneurship in more kids like Caine. We’re kicking off with our first ever Global Cardboard Challenge, inviting the world to play while celebrating the creativity of kids everywhere.

It is amazing to me how much has happened since I went to buy that door handle.

As this story continues to unfold, I’d like to invite you to be part of this next chapter of Caine’s Arcade.

Here are 3 Ways to Get Involved:

1. Take Part in our Global Cardboard Challenge on Oct 6th
Visit http://www.cardboardchallenge.com and host or find an event near you and RSVP to go play on Oct 6th! There are 9 days left to sign up with over 180 events in 25+ countries already registered.

2. Make a Donation to the Imagination Foundation
As a non-profit start up, early support will have a tremendous impact in giving us the capacity to execute our programs*. Visit imagination.is/awesome to become a recurring supporter (yay!) or just make a one-time donation. Donations are tax-deductible.

* If you’re wondering what the Imagination Foundation will do, please check out our programs and our core goals. We’re building this foundation from the ground up, so your feedback and ideas are very welcome.

3. Help Unlock a Remaining $34K Challenge Grant
With your help (plus 18,000 other awesome people!), we’ve raised $216,000 of a $250,000 matching challenge grant for Caine’s Scholarship Fund. Inspired by this movement, the Goldhirsh Foundation is matching every dollar donated to Caine’s Scholarship (up to $250K) to help us start the Imagination Foundation. We’re close to reaching our goal, but need a little help to get to the finish line. Can you chip in another $5 to Caine’s Scholarship Fund to help us reach the goal? Feng Shui By Fishgirl

Caine Monroy is an engineer, designer, creative genius, positive role model, optimist, visionary, dreamer and hardworking entrepreneur. Caine Monroy is also 9 years old. He is the inventor of Caine’s Arcade in East LA. Thanks to the short film about Caine made by Nirvan Mullick we can all share a smile and become inspired by Caine’s story. I don’t want to spoil it for you. Just go to this link to watch the 9 minute film.  This kid is well on his way to being the next Steve Jobs or Leonardo da Vinci. Feng Shui By Fishgirl suggests you also make a donation—even $1 is okay— to Caine’s scholarship fund to give your own feng shui a boost! This is one charitable donation that you can actually feel you you are making a difference in someone’s life directly.
