When the New York Times film critic describes a movie as “food porn”, I sit up and take notice. Especially if it’s a Nora Ephron film. “Julie & Julia” is the movie and the review makes my mouth water. I hope that Opera House in Stonington, Maine will show the film this summer since Julia Child was a summer resident here for years and years. It’s also cool to learn that Julia had a happy marriage filled with sex as well as food. Who knew?
Hah…I am in! Oh, and love that phrase, I do:)
A very talented fellow blogger has recently put up a post commemorating Julia, and I think you’d be interested. Take a lookie here:

Hi Juicer,
Thanks for your comment! BTW, there’s a pin-hole photographer on our island name of Anne-Claude Cotty (www.anneclaudecotty.com). Keep up the good work!

Hey, thanks a ton for visiting my blog and for the link! That’s a bonus!:) I will check out Anne’s site right away.
This movie sounds positively must-see for someone like me. I’ll do so as soon as my schedule clears up.
I’m so excited about Julia&Julia coming out this weekend! Can’t wait!
You know, I never was a big Streep fan until recently. Mamma Mia! was a lot of fun.
PS: Julie & Julia finally came to Stonington (The Opera House) and it was every bit as good as I hoped it would be! Made us laugh out loud and feel joyful. This is my kind of movie (no offense, Quentin T). Go see it!
